Was under the assumption this was just an ac powered scale, but also has a battery for when it's not connected! Wish it did .00g weight instead of .0g but still does the trick for the kitchen.

Scale fully charged via USB. After three days the scales turned on but battery was empty. No help from seller, answers extremely delayed or not at all. Cannot recommend either seller or product.
